Meet Dina Giovanetti, APRN-C
Dina Giovanetti's extensive training culminated at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), where she completed her Master's in Nursing, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During her master's program, she was asked to instruct her class in many high-level procedures, such as suturing. Previously, she completed a Nursing program at FAU, where she was inducted into the National Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1995.
Dina's initial education was at Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, where she earned a dual major in Biology and Microbiology. She was inducted into Sigma Phi Sigma, the National Mercy Honor Society, in 1986 and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1989. Following her graduation, she worked as a research assistant in a lab in Rhode Island, where she studied HIV in 1989.
Dina's nursing career began in 1995 as a trauma nurse in the emergency room at Columbia Hospital (JFK North) in West Palm Beach and at St. Mary’s Hospital. She spent six years in the emergency room and trauma ICU before becoming certified as a family nurse practitioner. She then spent ten years practicing in the emergency room and in women's health, followed by 11 years dedicated to practicing hematology and oncology, specializing in blood disorders and managing hematological problems for cardiothoracic surgery patients.
An avid runner, weightlifter, and competitive endurance athlete, Dina is also passionate about physical fitness and health. She has taught and coached various aspects of fitness since 2002, working with older adults, adults, and children. Her coaching experience includes soccer and defensive tackle football.
Dina has worked with Dr. Campazzi in various settings since 2008.
